Match Report, Screen shots and GTV demo inside.
First level: TurnpikeQA selected turnpike for there map as expected and started off on the blue side. The game pretty much started how most people on gtv expected which was
jF rushing pillars nicely and capping a few times in the first couple of minutes with
Joram doing what he does best which is real fast and dodgy rushing with great aim as well. Most people noticed
Mauri aka prick not around for this game on gtv but i personally didnt think it was going to make a difference as
jF won the first side 8-4.
The next round would be come a whole different story though.
jF swapped
Spy out for
Nexu who played his position mainly at pillar doors on defense. The game started out with well played defense from both sides,
Magnesium and
M0rtal did a amazing job at van and flag stoping
jF's rushes. I belive the score was around 3-2 for
QA and everyone including myself thinking with about 5 minutes left that
QA wanst going to have enough time to make enough caps. Well everyone was pretty much wrong because
QA really turned up the pressure and there rushers
bLk and
d0m started getting through to the flag and
Ryd3rs aka akuaba was doing a great job returning flags so they could cap. With about 2 mins left on GTV the score was around 7-4 when the cunt
Sines spoiled the game for everyone letting everyone know that
QA had managed to come back and win turnpike (since GTV is on delay) which left some people thinking that hes lying and others in shock. Well the cunt wasn't lying and
QA managed to win Turnpike by 1 cap.

win by 13 to 12Second level: jF map was algiers and
QA started off on the easier side (which is red). QA had a very interesting tactic which I haven't seen before from them which was two guys with g36 ( one on balcony the other behind the box at street). This ended up working out very well as the really controlled street and camel well and had
jF all dead while running off with there flag numerous times as the side ended 14-6 in favor of
QA.
The match clearly wasn't over yet becasue those who know algiers well know that blue side can go terribly bad pretty fast if your not able to control camel and street well. To most peoples surprise things didn't seem to click at all for
jF tonight as they were outplayed on both sides of algiers which is pretty surprising because they have been clearly the best CTF team around.Whether if it was the lack of practice with a couple few new faces in there lineup or whatever.
QA were clearly the stronger and more prepared team and even ended up winning the much harder side 10-5 so props to
Magnesium for getting his group prepared by practicing CTF a lot lately which really showed tonight.

Amazing game. Im proud of my team speccially for those who really dont like ctf like ryders and still they play pcw's  and yes we worked hard in ctf so we can do something in this cup since last cup we didnt even pass the groups :<.

Hm, mauri is still a fundamental part of the team, playing good or bad and with panne missing, there's a certain lack of speed.
But QA has a real solid team this season and with the addition of d0m they only became stronger.

tbh i agree with memphis on this one. but keep in mind one thing, he didnt switch teams in middle of playoffs, escn got eliminated at groupstage and he joined QA later on..Too bad indeed that the rule induces this kind of behaviour. Something that should be corrected in the future.
on the last month he was performing cl duties since i was afk most of the time due to irl stuff but that proved to be too much for him thus the migration to another team in which he had less responsability, although im not coniving with it, its something i can relate to. |

I just took you as an example u faggot. I'm criticizing the rule not you in particular.
Although, we do have 6 really good players at the moment for CTF that play well together. Don't want any more players but MTZ said u were interested, however I would never take you in for those 2 reasons. It would be another story if we were only 4-5 players. QA has like 99 players so don't really see the point there.
Finally, the reason why I did say hi to you is because you never know what happens next season to puff and you are a good player so I think you could contribute to our team if someone decides to quit.
Anyway, I hope you stay in QA now and don't jump from clan to clan as a lamer.

Wasn't a shock with that lineup, we really missed mauri and panne. Anyway they played good, with nice teamplay, we just couldn't take control of the game. So, unless puff pull out something of their hats, I guess they will take the deserved gold.

I think it's time to say, " There are new kids on the block".
In the last years, this community saw the appearance of great teams like TK, EDK. puff, jF and others that left their mark, now we can say that QA, in the best tradition of PT gamers, reached the highest place of UrT game.
It is true that we have not seen a great game, last night, but I think we have seen the consolidation of a team that plays with the heart when it comes to. Congratulations to QA and their players. |
