Patience and action, this is what we would remember for this game.
The game started 1H30 later, due to HOQ and CB TDM NC games, the whole uk and even some NED players were not available to play ... But let's focuse on te exciting game they proposed us.First level: Japanese Castles
This map was picked by NED and they didn't regret it. As usual, draven and silencep were really active in offence and after many attacks they finally made the difference for their team.
This is why, draven could do an hat trick against deus and q50 in defence. Silencep and adam can be proud also due to their 2 captures.
We also had adam who could do one cap for the UK squad.
This game was really excited : a lot of frags, good rockets jumps, some nice quad and reg runs. If the UK team would be more synchronised in attack and for the PUs, they could have a chance to win.
The first captured appeared around 3min by draven after a good escape from high and then, the doors were opened to the show. The both teams started to show their best performance.
Adam did a nice escape at 8min and the score was 2:1 for the UK team.
Draven could easily do a second cap at 10min with some mid cleaning by his team.
Silencep did a really nice frag party with the reg, escaped from high and captured the 3rd flag for NED around 11min.
The final score was 5-3 for the NED squad and we can say that the offence tactic from NED has payed.
A special "BRAVO!" to derfel, who didn't returned the flag at 16:30 at the RL position. Scoot railed him, escaped from high and easily scored.Screenshots:
NED win by 5 to 3Second level: Siberia
Siberia, the map who doesn't make agree the whole CTF community. Some like it and others don't. I think this map is enjoyed by tdmers, because you can easily make frags, rail at mid, shaft in RA position and the flag def has got 1MH, 1YA, so everything he needs to protect his base and frag !
We will go directly to the final score : 2-0 for UK squad.
Two really nice caps from adam who has improoved since the last lueague, jaz has been replaced by him, and we really don't regret it/him ...
His strafe were pretty perfect, he did nice movements and could escape from low to home RA easily. If he missed only 1 jump or strafe, he would have failed !
So, i think adam was the man of the map even if UK team were really strong in def, we think specially about 50 cents (@q50) def, and strong mid from deus.
Betija helped also in attack adam and has replaced derfel for the rest of the match ... (because of derfel p1 fail ? ...).
Even if draven and silencep did nice quad runs, they didn't have enough help at mid and we saw a powerful UK team coming back to their base and securing the mid.Screenshots:
UK win by 2 to 0Third level: Ironworks
This map with p1 was really excited also and after waiting more than 1H30, the dropped maps finally came to IRONWORKS. And yes, it works for NED with their victory !
The two teams were really active in offence, NED may be had more PU in mid but we saw a really active draven in offence with silencep and nice synchronous attacks.
May be, if deus would be more in offence, he could do the difference, because the few times he did in attack made the difference and he could give a lot of damages.
Adam were really one or the man of the day, he had an impressive shaft, but he unluckely failed a lot of RJ (2fat 2failgore ?). I think he needs some q50 rj lessons ...
For the caps, all NED players did 1 except silencep, and only adam and betija did 1 cap.
May be with some more trainning from uk team on c7 or more precise RJ would have payed ... who knows ?Screenshots:
NED win by 3 to 2
This is the games we love, p1 and c7 were really impressive to spec and i hope everyone had the same entouthiasm.
What we regret : 1H30 of late, special thanks for NED who were really really patient ... specially scoot :).
I think this game would be one of the hardest and i wish the best for both teams.
UK and NED with SWE are the most experienced and powerful teams in this nation cup with GER and FRA.
My noise tells me that NED and UK will may finish in the top 3 ...
Thanks to both teams who gave us this pleasure !
