Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome To The First Ever Edition Of ClanBase TrackMania Speed Major Series In Our Spring 2011 Open Cup Season!

This cup will be run by Sixers, Woki & Psychovic. We will try to do our best to give you an amazing and fun cup !

Few basic stuff you should know about this cup :

This Open Cup will run the Cup Mode, in 1on1on1on1 Style.
The cup will run in a Playoff style in Double Elimination form!
Each match will be played with 3 maps and 120 points limit, 5 rounds per map.
The Full Server Settings Will Be Up Later With All The Rules!

All the players that will apply for the cup will be filtered by us and the ones who we choose will be divided to 1/2/3 levels and each level will run its own playoff competition.
From every match there will be 2 players that will continue to the next round. The winner and the runner up.
We would need a special playoff tree in order to show one match with 4 players but we don't have such a tree! So, we will use a regular 1on1 playoff tree that will be used in a different way, each block of four players will represent one match. An example is given below :

Here you can see the playoff tree from the last Tech OC. The SMS cup will have the same tree right from the start of the cup (just bigger). In our cup the first match would actually be:
- Zlatan vs SOD vs Astroman vs psYchovic
And the second match will be:
- Spirit vs Fleshreaper vs Synde vs shakasaur

Don't worry, after the tree will be made we will announce each match week what are the matches that needs to be played between which players and in which day and time for those who won't understand the tree at first!

We have decided that all the matches will be auto set to a standard default time, to one of the following choices :
Saturday at 20:00 CET or Sunday at 20:00 CET.

Of course that if all 4 players agree to a different Day and Time to play this match, they can tell it to one of the Supervisors and we will change it to that date. A proof of every one agreeing to the new date has to be given.
You can use the Cup forum for that, IRC, emails or any other way you will be able to talk to each other.

GUID

A GUID is a specific code or name, individual to your game account. The GUID is used to identify you during a game, and prevent players fake nicking or playing for other people.

In most games, your GUID is similar to your game key code, however, this is not the case in TMN:F because it is a free game. What is individual to your client is your TMN:F login name. The game itself ensures that no 2 players can have the same login, so it is impossible to fake nick a player without access to their account.

Who ever signs up with no GUID will not be accepted for this Cup!

The punishment for using the wrong GUID in game is a forfeit loss and a red card. A second offence will result in removal from the cup. There are no excuses for not having your GUID entered, call this a warning.

Map Requirements

Trackname should be [CB] "Your Trackname"
Length: 45 until 60 Seconds
Use only classic boosters
Use wallride and loop cams
NO Nightmode!!
The track is not uploaded anywhere
The track is not used in any competition
The track is just know by yourself

As usual we are looking for admins to supply the players with the correct process of filling in results and putting match reports and screen shot so sign up as writer or a referee if you want to help out. If you think you have what it takes and meet the following criteria:

Good knowledge of written english.
Knowledge of the commands available.
Able to stay neutral and to make fair decisions/judgements.
Good knowledge of the rules
Ability to write matchreports/upload screenshots

All results should be posted in the Cup Forum with the screens of the match or sent to us by email, no-shows needs to be posted as well with screens and we will fill in the score. Do not make a match report about a no-show. If you do make a match report it will be deleted.
