TO 5on5 OpenCup Fall 2011

The TO Open Cup Fall 2011 has come to an end!
by: beArdy

After two months of fragging the Tactical Ops Fall Cup 2011 is finally over!

First of all, we would like to thank all the clans who participated in this cup, also those who didn't make it to the playoffs. Secondly, congratulations to all this years winners and runners up!

Looking at this years cup, there were a couple of suprises such as AOJ and Imperium being knocked out in the group stages. But nevertheless all credit goes to the clans going through.

In the first league playoffs 3D didn't have an easy task gaining gold against Infinity but they succeeded in their efforts. dA Gaming won the third spot on the podium by a no show win over mS

That the second league was won by a Portuguese clan isn't such a big suprise as 50% of the second league teams are from the land of Port wine. But still, congratulations to Expendables for being the strongest team in the 'segunda liga'!

Here is a summary of the winners:

Premier League

Premier League
RankAwardClan
1stEurope Die Die Die
2ndGermany project infinity
3rdGermany dA Gaming
4th-Netherlands |M|enace -2- |S|ociety

Second League

Second League

1stPortugal Expendables
2nd-Portugal Marginal Gaming
3rd-C.I.S. Reservoir Dogs
4th-Portugal One Piece Mugiwaras

Of course, this cup couldn't have been possible if it wasn't for our Supervisors frozen and Yogi.

We also would like to thank all the cupadmins for helping us out during this edition by making reports or sorting things out on IRC. So a special thanks goes to Maniac and Taste

Overshadowed by all the no shows, I still feel this cup was pretty succesful, but if you have any remarks regarding this edition, feel free to let us know in the comment section!

The Tactical Ops CB crew hopes to see all of you again next season and hopefully already during the winter in our Nations Cup edition.

Greetings beArdy`
