yes i played with cheaters in my team but i think over 12 years with having played in lets say 100 clans a load of players wouldve played with cheaters alongside them.

Consider yourselves lucky seeing as this game has gone on this long. If you want to improve Anti-cheat, put all ex-cheaters on a watchlist and have them upload. Recruit new demo watching team, pass people down the cycle. That's the only way you could possibly keep people playing.
The only reason I play here is because of my friends.

I agree that noobX is very intense, but the bottom line is that this game has had a substantial influx of cheaters during its lifetime, even more so in its later years. And it has been widely ignored (read: top clans have been actively recruiting these players, hence the rest of the community has accepted them). While I agree that "once a cheater, always a cheater" does not neccesarily apply in every case, it cannot be ignored.
When CB decided to allow cheaters back in after just 6/12 months, they basically decided to pull the plug on UT's life support. Too many players have quit due to the vast amount of illegitimate dickheads who decided to ruin everybody else's fun.
Well no since the 6/12m ban is the same for all games on CB not just UT, the only thing that pulled the plug on UT on CB is the scene and lack of coding for anticheat, i can count on 1 hand the amount of UT players caught in the past year or 2 and that cant be CB fault. |
