First level: Village (213.239.172.68:27960 )
This promised to be an interesting map, with some players from SWE having a bad history here. First round NED showed them how they were going to play the game. NED retreated behind the catapult!! They took positions and waited. People exchanged fire and the situation became 3 NED vs 2 SWE. 1 death on each side made it 2 NED players versus…KungCarl (talk about irony). He gave away the round with a lemming of the roof.
The following rounds NED played very diffensivly. They were not doing a good job at it and lost 5 rounds in a row. Then a few lucky spawns in a row (second floor spawn, SWE spawning second floor and not rushing out…) They came back to 4-5. Then SWE got back in the game and made it 4-7. We witnessed one funny situation, where poelier runs right by a SWE player positioned in a window on the second floor. poelier positions himself on the other window, not knowing that his opponent just 2 feet away…
Turning point in the game, NED gets a flawless round, unleashing round after round of death and murder upon SWE. They came from 4-7 to 9-7, very impressive in the last minutes of the map.
(P.S./Quartz was the sneaky little bugger on this map)

Second level: Turnpike (213.239.172.68:27960 )
NED started this map positional (I didn’t know this was possible hehe). The game was very balanced on this map. It seemed that who ever could take the central area early on in the round, could go on and win the round. (A few exceptions here and there) The map was mostly played with grenades and LR, backed up with a sniper. This combination worked well for both sides, keeping the scores close together.
The last round it was BlaZe versus 3 SWE members. Over a minute left in the game, the score was 7-7, SWE was 2 round behind, they could still pull of a draw and force NED in overtime. They clearly forgot about BlaZe. Cornered by two SWE players, he gets 2 heads in a row. BlaZe versus KungCarl now. BlaZe hides himself at the stairs, waiting for KungCarl to come and waiting for the time to pass. He succeeds in his plan and even kills KungCarl, winning them the map 8-7.
(P.S.:VytreX was the un-lose with the sr-8 here)

GG from both sides, they showed us why they got this far. The game wasn’t as fast as some other games, but it was more tactical. GG to everyone and see you next nations cup!!
