First level: CTF-UCMP4-Talya ()
After deciding on a two-server war, Sweden won the cointoss and we end up playing Talya first, on the German server.

Defenders: Moose + PingMan / Menzi + raMp
Attackers: Kiman, Wiking & Holken / DAM, vega & ScHiScH


After Wiking shed the first blood we were off to what turned out to be a very exciting map. Sweden seemed to have the mapcontrol for most of the start of the map, both had some flagtouches but always the defenders (or nearby spawning attackers) who returned the flag. After roughly 6 minutes Kiman did found a gap in the German defense and brought home his first flag of the night. Not long after Kiman almost did the same trick, this time he went via high to low in the middle and doubled the Swedish lead. After this second cap the game went back to touch and go, but without any dangerous situations on either side.

This until Holken got hold of the flag and didn't get shot down by the German big guns, 3-0 now the score. This made Germany change their positions and they left Menzi alone on defense, and moved raMp up to attack. This got positive result pretty quickly for the Germans with 2 almost consecutive caps with the help of their tremendous fragpower (i.e. ScHiScH gave a ludicrous cover on one of the caps). After that Sweden got some control back and it seemed to end in 3-2 for a while. But Germany put their shoulders under it and managed to tie the game with just a little bit of time left.

But in the heath of battle Holken managed to penetrate the German defense and get out with the flag, without a lot of back-up he made it back into his own base, just to get shot at the flagstone where captain Moose picked it up and finished it off to make it 4-3 with just 12 seconds to go. Sweden takes the oh-so surprising win.

Second level: CTF-SprintaCB-iCTF ()

Attackers: Kiman, Wiking & Holken / DAM, vega & ScHiScH

Now the favored German map of Sprinta. Beforehand i'd only see Team NL have a chance against Germany on this map, but Sweden proved they are a force to be reckoned with. For this map we moved to the Swedish server where the Germans had an average of 44 ping vs 30 of the Swedes. Once started both teams put as much pressure on the defense as they could, but neither of the defenses broke for the first five minutes. In the 6th minute the Germans forced their way through the PingMan/Moose combo and opened up the map they needed to win. But Sweden did not look too worried at the time and kept their pressure on.

A few minutes later their patience was rewarded with the cap to make it 1-1. They could not just celebrate this cap, but also another one as Sweden capped the 2-1 almost straight after the 1-1. Germany quickly recovered by making it 2-2. That just did not do it for Sweden, they managed to get a third flag out against Germany, this also made Sweden play a bit more defensive, with attackers going through base first before actually attacking. Due to this change in playstyle the score was on the scoreboard for a good 5 minutes till capmania started. First Germany tied it to 3-3 what lead to Sweden putting the original amount of pressure on the German defense again, what again resulted in a cap and the 4-3 lead. Germany then went full attack with the hopes of being able to force a decider map to be played.

After some lucky moments which would've gone either way Germany managed to cap 3 flags in a short period of time, where Sweden was struck by bad luck when it came to late returns or unlucky spawns. Either way, Germany took the win, and a decider map was to be played, with 10 mins on each server.

Third level: CTF-Rankin-PRO (#1 @ .de / #2 @ .se )
Defenders: Moose + PingMan / Menzi + raMp
Attackers: Kiman, Wiking & Holken / nighz, vega & ScHiScH

Decider map(s) After elimination, which Germany started for having the most caps (9 vs 8), the decider turned out to be beautiful map of Rankin. This time nighz came in, after almost overlooking the 'max. 4 players of 1 clan'-rule, replacing CrunchPJ, Menzi also came back instead of DAM. With what I personally think is Germany's best teamplayer (nighz) Germany had the upper hand on these 2x10mins of Rankin from start to finish. Firstly starting on the German server, they got a quick cap out and just kept on putting pressure on Moose and PingMan who couldn't prevent any more flags from being stolen.

In the second part, on the Swedish server this time, this didn't go any differently. Both 10 minutes were decided by 3 solid German caps, of which Sweden couldn't do anything against, completely fragged to shreds by the fragpower of ScHiScH, nighz and vega.
