ClanBase News, October '07

We've got some exciting events and motions lined up for you this October. After the successful launch of our latest Cup season, including EuroCup XVI.

ClanBase brings you the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars OpenCup Sponsored by Activision

ClanBase are proud to announce that our first ET:QW OpenCup is now officially sponsored by the developers, Activision who will be giving the ClanBase ET:QW OpenCup a massive €4000. The prize money will be split as follows:

This is some prize and we thank Activision a lot for it. For those of you that are interested in winning this money then there is still chance. EVERYONE that signs up to this cup has a chance to win it, even if you end up in the 3rd division. With over 100 signups, there is still a chance for you to add to that number. ClanBase opens Crysis Beta tournament

Taking a debut along with ET:Quake Wars, ClanBase offers Crysis Beta players the perfect companion to find the best Crysis Multiplayer Beta team. Along with the rest of our partners we are pleased to bring you the Crysis MP Beta Cup! All over the world people will be able to compete with and against each other, battling it out to not only see who looks best in the new nanosuit, but also see who can dominate the rest of the competitors.

Now some may ask, “How are we meant to play against American teams when we live in Germany?” We are not running just one tournament, but rather four tournaments! Each tournament will focus on a set of countries in one geographical area, allowing games to be played in a much more competitive style. Interested? Check out this news item! ClanBase gives away Crysis Beta keys

ClanBase are giving away a number of Crysis Beta keys, courteousy of Electronic Arts. We have a number of keys to give away, and we have also made it extremely easy for our users to get them. There are no challenges except one, a firm knowledge of the game.

There are however a number of requirements. Firstly to receive a key you must not have another beta key already. All participants must be over 18, they’re not already signed-up or be a part of another contest (ea masters for example). If you think you know the game well enough and meet this requirements, then please visit our front page and take part in the poll on the right hand side.

The times for the ClanBase Report are over. A new era has begun. I bring you, Get cUpdated! This area will be a haven for all matters cup related, be it EC/OC/NC or even featured cups! It will be here.

Now with more space to put more articles, we will keep it constantly ticking in, with weekly items on how the match weeks have gone in various EC's, along with match previews, as well as summaries of some of the big games the week before and lots of other content from the CB news and coverage crew.
