AutoMatch Making
|
As we announced in this newspost, a new feature has gone live on ClanBase: Auto Matchmaking! This feature will help clans find matches on our ladders in a nearly effortless way!
The feature enables clans and players to put forth a challenge for a match on a specified date and timeframe, on a specific ladder.
This will not only make it a lot easier to find opponents but also to plan your weekly match schedule in advance.
Head over to the newspost to find out more, and learn how this could help your clan! |

Crysis and eSports
|
After the winner for the European ClanBase Crysis Beta Tournament was known, GGL Wire interviewed the winning team, GlobalTeam eSports . The interview can be found here. It's an interesting read, where GT-Soulimano gives his opinion on the future of Crysis in eSports, as well as the PunkBuster anti-cheat in Crysis. Here is a small snippet from the interview:
GGL Wire: Crysis - Do you think it has an eSports future?
Soulimano: This is THE question a lot of players are asking themselves. Crysis has an esports future, for sure, because Crytek has done a great job on the multiplayer aspect of the game, so it will be adopted by enough players anyway to allow cup ladders and LAN events. The question is rather, will it be an esports blockbuster as Battlefield 2 was, for example? ...
The winners of the European ClanBase Crysis Beta Tournament are:

We here at ClanBase would like to wish all participants in the tournament the best of luck in the future, and if Soulimano is a good indicator, Crysis does indeed have a bright future on ClanBase! |
Up All Night & Epileptic Gaming
|
ClanBase's mother company, GGL, is currently producing one of the hottest shows in the gaming world, Epileptic Gaming - A brand new part of this show is called "Up All Night".
Epileptic Gaming is a daily gaming show which couples entertainment with gaming info, all under the supervision of the (pro)vocative EG Cast. Studio guests, fan skype-ins, gaming banter, this show has it all!
Up All Night is a repeating feature on Epileptic Gaming, reviewing games in a marathon-style session, where the cast stays up all night, trying and evaluating a game to the fullest.
Two "Up All Night" editions have taken place so far, the first one featuring the widely expected Halo 3 (XBOX 360), and the second one introduced "Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games" (Wii).
If you want to get updated on what is hot or not in the gaming scene at the moment, these two shows are not to be missed! |
