We are the eF clan!
eF stand for Evil-Fruit and I (4pp3lfl4p) started this UT2004 clan a couple of months after the game was released back in 2004 :-)
Let me tell you a story about the clan from how it started till how it is today!
It all started with instagib capture the flag, which was my favorite gametype from ut99 and with faceclassic in special, i never heard of the word "clan" but it sounded like fun so i tried to set up one myself.
This was very easy in the time, i went in a server and asked "hey, i'm starting a clan who wants to join?" and there we had 10 new recruits.
The new members didn't stay long as eF had nothing to offer but this changed since Netherlands b4n4n4 joined us and created a beauty of a website (thank you b4n4n4)
Everything went ok, members joined, members left, we won many clanwars and this went on through the rest of the year till suddenly the famous UTAN ICTF server died.
It didn't take long after that for entire iCTF to slowly die in front of our feets
That was the momemt when eF merged with DMT (a iDM clan) but also the iDM slowly started to die and eF became single again...
I thought that there was nothing left anymore and eF would slowly see its end till a new UTAN ICTF server showed up and we meet some players there that also played TAM (the very first version)
First we didnt like the normal weapons but after a couple of weeks it started to become fun, TAM was still very buggy and it crashed every 10 seconds but lots of updates where coming out and TAM became in my sight a total new game because it was nothing compared to UT we were used to.
Many members left because of this but also new members joined as eF was one of the clans with the good members.
This is how we stand right now
We are active in clanbase, got lots of nice and cool members from all over the world and the most important thing: we have FUN!! We play mostly TAM and Freon, but sometimes iCTF too. |
