Server settings - HatzR - optimal - Mon 30 Apr 15:16

Hi, i've got a new server and i'm trying to make it playable for clanbase matches

At the moment i've got it streaming fine but i'm not sure if CVAR checks / MD5 is running?

I think i've sorted it now (not sure) but i don't actually know how to check..? Is there some sort of command i type in-game?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Follow all the steps on Game-Violations' website to setup the stream properly.

Once this is done, the pbsvuser.cfg should be uploaded to your server's PunkBuster homepath (this is normally just a folder named "pb", but it can be checked with the command "rcon pb_sv_homepath"). Execute the file by using the command "rcon pb_sv_load pbsvuser.cfg" when you're connected to the server. If done correctly, a list will be shown in your console along with a publicly displayed message in the chat. Now the CVAR and MD5 checks should be running properly (I think this can be checked by using the command "rcon pb_sv_cvarlist").

Furthermore, you also should enable the cvarlist on the server. The absence of a cvarlist on a server is technically a perfectly legit reason to deny playing on a server, however, once the match has begun this can never be used as a reason for forfeit loss/match cancel.

To enable the cvarlist, simply upload ClanBase's cvarlist (can be found in the rules section) to your server's PunkBuster homepath and execute it with the command "rcon pb_sv_load CB.cfg" (or whatever you choose to name the file). Whether or not the file is successfully executed later on can be checked with the command "pb_cvarlist".

I did not check the exact commands before writing this, so I might be wrong at some point, but hopefully I've remembered it all correctly. Worth to mention is that you will at least have to execute the cvarlist every time your server is restarted. I'm not completely sure if this has to be done with the pbsvuser file, but it doesn't hurt to do so as well.

Thank-you for the reply i think it's all sorted now. Would you be able to connect to the server to test it out? If not that's fine, i just trust someone else's judgement more than mine xD

I'm on there now if you want to, but don't feel obliged too.

The cvarlist is properly executed, however, I don't think I am able to see whether or not the pbsvuser.cfg is without rcon access or access to GV's files. As long as you used the command "rcon pb_sv_load pbsvuser.cfg" it should be all fine (you'll see the list load in the console along with a message being written in the public chat).
