the UT sDOM Cup is back in business. This time featuring some small changes to maps and items, and a prize money pool of $500.
Essentially it is InstaGib with items, and without the "instant gib" part. You still aim to hit directly with a hitscan zeroping beam, but this gametype is suited for both nw AND InstaGib players.
Why? Aiming will come naturally to InstaGibbers, but they aren't as used to timing items, nor keeping their healthpool in check / knowing when additional health will save them and when it's just a waste of time. The rate of fire is also faster which has been seen to affect their firepower. Additional tactics such as shooting opponents down from ledges can also be used to attain "one hit saves" on otherwise healthy opponents.
I know we won't make it to 32 clans like we did last season, but I'm pleading to have YOU sign up so we can have some more fun. The more the merrier! |
