I'm Saiken one of the known players on this game..
I would like to talk here about UT2004.
It's nice to have some clan's still playing this game, but people are slowly leavin' it, this all began in 2008.
Now we can hardly get 4 divisions. Most teams that were div2 in the old times are now div1.
It's a really nice game, but the release of those new FPS games for ex. UT3 & CoD4 made this game a big mess.
And the cheaters ( I won't call any names ) who ruined this game.
One message for the cheaters: Thanks for ruining this nice game, I hope you are happy now... -.-
People are slowly changing to ESL? In ESL you only have 1on1 cups. No TDM or TAM or iCTF. And TAM is the gametype which gets played most these days. So if your saying people are moving to ESL it's probally only the 1on1 players ( Frantic, ioX, ScrMz, HarkeN, etc.. )
People, I really hope the iMiX will end better than this cup. And hopefully more clans will start signing up for the next UT2004 cups.
Still I won't leave this game.
Another message for the cheaters from my part you are just ruining ur chance to play a game. You are only keeping the people away of this game that's all you are doing but this won't be for long anymore.

Info to all old UT2004 Players: You should give this game a shot again. Their's alot of positive changes coming.

Duel is still active aswell.
TDM sometimes.
iCTF partly active but will be better soon.

And soon their are going to be new UT2004 CB admins who are very active.

I havbe been looking for people playing this game for years, and only now have come to afford internet. I am slowly getting into the online gaming scene. I long to play this games and also UT3. I know only one person who can best me in either game. He is my brother in the next room...playing hard on Diablo3 right now. We pitch in for internet.
Point is, my ping sux ASS. BF3 works well with a ping of +/- 330. Above 350 things get choppy, but I still manage to time shots and get kills...
UT on the other hand, REQUIRES a ping of under 200. Otherwize I'm firing shots and hoping to score...But I STILL come second or third in some matches....
As a result I have partly given up the hope to ever enjoy my all time favorite game, Unreal. It's Epic. ;-)
