Problems with removing 2 pixels

As the title says when i remove 2 pixels from my game the game doesn't run that smooth it looks like i'm having 40 fps while i have 300. So I'm forced to play in window mode to get clean ss from uac, which sucks becouse sometimes i click out of the game and find myself on desktop.
Any help would be appreciated |

Reply | Does your fps drop to 40 when you're in r_mode -1 or does it just feels like 40 fps?
Have you set com_maxfps or is it still on 85? (default)
here's a few things you can try:
- Use the same resolution as your desktop resolution
- Use 1024x766 (don't know why, but for someone else this worked)
- Remove only 1 pixel instead of 2 |

Reply | It doesn't drop to 40 just feels like i tried with removing only 1 but still i had the problem, now i'm trying another resolutions
Edit: In 1024*766 the game just runs fine so i'll leave it like that
