Reply | hello guys i have installed pam_uo 3.3b on my server, but i got a problem..it lags when while we are playing when using cb mode but when we tried to play with twl mode it has no lag,only on cb.
can u help me with this? |

Reply | | Remove other mods from the server, they might not "like" each other. |

Reply | | Still it must be a server-related issue, as we have a running UO cup, and noone has any problem with the mod. Ask your server provider to check this case out. |

Reply | | i have got a server before with pam mod and i was running cb mode on it,and it lags,and now ive got a new svr with a nice provider en still lagging with pam mode,ive tried the other mode like twl,pub,etc.. and not lagging only at cb mode,im sure that the problem is not on the server, and also we have played on other svr with cb mode and also lags. |

Reply | They are running fine for the teams in the current OC for CoD:UO as far as i'm aware.
In the past, i've experienced lag on servers due to a massive cvarlist. Some hosts can't seem to handle it. Try see if that is the issue by getting rid of the cvarlist.
Who hosts the server and where is it located? and which PAM are you using? Can you provide the link to where you got it from please. |

Reply | Well, I think the problem lies mainly on the hosts because everytime I have gotten a server from UK hosts in the past, I have always gotten lag spikes (ping jumps every minute or two) whenever I try running PAM and a cvarlist. I've tried at least 5 different UK hosts in the past and they've all been bad except for LinXHosting.
Try downloading the lastest CB PAM (/rcon pam_mode opencup) and run it with no cvarlist at first, then add the cvarlist to see if it makes a difference. Links are below:

If that still doesn't work, my advice to you would be not to get a UO server located in the UK as they dont seem to be that reliable in my experience. Your public server is working fine since it is modless or uses AWE/other mod i presume? |
