Now look at it in the real world. 80% of players in COD1 are on other accounts Such as the gotowned.pl account, now only 2/3 players can play on the polish team in any NC and that goes about the same for Hungary & most probs Czech Republic, We will be spending half our time checking the same clan rule within the cup and there will be more forfeits & whine than gaming in my view.
At present t he open cup is a complete waste of time with more no shows/dead clans than matches. This is not the way to go when you want to push for a Nations Cup for any game.
So at this time there will be no Nations cup this season for COD1. |

So admins doing their best in their free time and prepare great open cup with a lot of reports etc... Teams are registered everyone is excited about wars. But suddenly no1 wants play and much more than half registered teams didn't show up for even one match. So next time admins can fuck you players like you did. Nobody will do some cup and waste time for buch of ppl who won't show up.
So i think its nonsense to do NC again. We can be happy if there will be another open cup with one league without noshows. |

Yes, the admins' activities are really nice and good, we have a lot of cups for example seasonal ladder hosted cup, open cup, but we have new rules and new programs, which some people can't accept, and cant play with them. for example me, because i cant play with uac, and in my opinion lot of people hate this new gv script which don't allow maxfps 333.
*why ? i never had more than 200 fps, and ?
*i dont care, so these changes destroy this game. And the other about the bans. Now lot of people get ban coz of 2008 rivatuner shot for example kizo, got some abuse ban, but why ?? yes the rules are rules but i think first we should check our scene, because we have enough 'vacancy' and dont needed the spare bans

Reply | Sad to say this but face it guys, how the fuck are you thinking NC would be possible in cod1? Everybody would really love another NC but without player it's impossible. Btw, look how OC goes. Like 1/10 wars is played. The only thing you can do is a "hosted cup" via clanbase but you won't have more than 6 teams imo (germany, hungary, poland, czech, italy (?) and slovenia (?)).
ps : to ppl who put belgium in their list, I can certify there won't be belgium team since we're only 2 belgians players. And please, just forgot the idea that some "oldschoolers" will come back to play NC. |

You can get maximum 8 teams which more than half of them will be full of players of the same clan (like finland, germany and netherlands). Look the evidence, the only nations which could get a decent nation team with players from different clans are poland, czech and hungary.

Reply | Poland: NvL, RON, MODERN, WYJEBANE/TNP - Tho all of those clans are mostly inactive lately I think. We only play a little for the Summer Cup. But I think Poland could get at least 7 players who doesnt break the lineup rule. GO.pl are the same ppl as WYJEBANE tho in GO we played with one guy from Slovakia.
Dunno how about other countries.
Imho its not a good idea to run NC if it will be filled with no shows... Cause hipoteticly we could get enough contries to join but in reality there would be lots of no shows or lineup rule breaking in case one/two players wont show up.
Nation Cup is not possbile, or rather would be a complete failure. Tho if someone up there decides differently - we all should do what we can to run such a cup smoothly. |
