SoF2 works fine on Windows 7. Only i have a little problem:
How do i remove those black borders on the left and right side?? It's like SoF2 doesnt fullscreen the 1280x1024 res @ Windows 7? Anybody has a solution for this ?

usually its about the screen menu, but rarely the vga driver^^ you can stretch that pic over the whole screen or keep it like this. filling it with a widescreen won' work as long as sof2 isnt supporting it.
contacting the support of your gpu chipset manufactorer (ati/nv) might solve the problem^^

Lots of people have used it for quite a while without trouble and even if it wasnt "safe" , theres plenty of banned people playing already and nobody cares
