i dont think, that its good to use every vehicle anytime... it should be limited. For example, on Caspian Border, there are 3 tanks per team+jet+helicopter so it will be only vehicle fight...2 players in heli, 1 in jet, 3 main players in tanks + 2 last players will not be on ground alone, so i think that they will be in tanks too.

I think that its too much vehicles for 8vs8, maybe if it would be 12vs12 it would be good, but I think that for this type of teams is good 1 tank, maybe max. 2, but 1 was good in Nations Cup

We talked a lot about this prior to the cup. I asked many players about this, also the new rules were up to debate in the ladder.

NationsCup and the OpenCup have totally different approach to the vehicles.
- unlimited ground armor vs only one from each type
- you can steal vs stealing is prohibited

Tanks are easy to get rid of, and tbh. limiting them would be "un-Battlefieldish". Also for every week there is an infantry focused map as well.

However we are always open for suggestions, your imput was noted and very much appreciated.

yeah but on vehicle maps it will be just vehicle war.... every player will be sitting in some vehicle i think....

i dont think that some team will let some tank on base..

The curse of the 8on8. If it was up to me, i would push the team size up to 12v12, but then no one would participate, since the competitive mode is 8on8.

The maps are not made for 16 players. Battlefield is focusing around vehicle based gameplay thats just the way it is. Tbh tank wars are still better than forcing ppl to use only one vehicle from each classes. Also don't forget tanks dies faster since the latest patch: engineers and choppers eat them for breakfast.

That 1-1-1 rule was also the source of multiple match conflicts in the NC.

As i said, we are always open for suggestions, we are listening for every and all inputs. For the next cup, we'll have an open discussion about the rules, and we'll change them according to the public opinions.

I think the rules are fine as they are now, but we are making these cups for you, and not for ourselves.

Well on the accord of the first game, Epsilon(GROF) vs Genuin it was pretty much even with inf-action + tanks.

Tanks are slow to move from base to the field and the dynamic switching (and tanks dying all the time!) it had alot of inf-fights even in Caspian Border. Looking good!
