Reply | I know that there's already a couple of topics on this, but does anyone fancy playing a few wars with this anti-cheat? I'm sure it would be a big help for the admins, because we can make them aware of any bugs we find and let them know.
Anyhow regardless of the support it has from CB, I just think it would be a good idea for us to use our own initiative and play with it, rather than wait around complaining about how it takes so long for CB to implement it.

but on a serious note can you use a custom config file with this anti cheat? I use a custom resolution as my moniters native res is 1680 by 1050 and mohaa would not suport this. |

Reply | | Yes that's possible I'm currently playing with a custom resolution of 1920x1080 and it works fine. On behalf of your config, you just have to make sure settings like SETA and ALIASES cvars are right. |

mohaac is ALOT better than uac.
all the players who had it runnin were getting clean/clear screenshots etc.
it even detected darkovic his dildobind !
just gonna need to sort out some ppl's mohaac in order to get scanned etc but this looks promising |

Reply | I have a few things to report from that war:
1) a bind saying the word "aimbot" on the cfg makes it an infraction, even tho its just a "bind x say ... aimbot ..."
2) the MOHAA.exe they make you download doesn't block wt wv.
3) I didn't ear any water sound even tho there were reports saying otherwise.
4) It allows you to choose allowed pk3s setting up a match ID, so you can use custom maps.
5) It looks promising, way better than UAC. |

**the wv,wt,Mtex values which accompany the FPS display in-game will no longer be shown. Only FPS will be shown when `fps` is set to 1
*disabled the in-game `notepad`, this means that all functions which require it (editshader,editspecificshader,etc) will be completely useless. |

Reply | Before we could introduce any new ac to rules, we need C&A chiefs approval. Before that ac has to be tested and the best would be to run hosted cup, anyone interested in supervising?
FAQ: How do I start my own Hosted Cup but that must be successful cup, not with >70% of noshows.
There have to be a lot of things to do before mohaaac could be set officially as cheat protector in cb wars (eg. guid system), but mostly important are you, mohaa community, involved in this project and you have to show your initiative, not only by posting +1 to each topic
So, find a responsible players, run a hosted cup and show it's worth to try. |

Reply | I dont think the hosted cup is a good idea since there is an OC going on.
Besides i remember on COD4 they had to test UAC on ladders first with mandatory option.. so the best idea is to put it mandatory on ladders and see how it goes. |

Reply | | As far as I know, no anti-cheat has ever been mandatory on the MoH:AA ladders, at least not for as long as I've been Game supervisor. People have the right to choose the anti-cheat of their choice and that's why it will never be made mandatory. |

Wouldn't it be easier to put it as an option when challenging a clan? People will be able to choose Demo-only/UAC/MOHAAC, what's the problem with not doing it that way? |
