Reply | i'm posting this again because the way this forum works my entry in the other thread is easily overlooked. seeing how it's only a couple months old, it should deserve some recognition for being the newest mohaa map in existence. lol.

i put some real effort into this map and i realise it requires some proper testing. so for anyone serious about expanding the map rotation, please have a serious look. and for anyone into TDM, this map is pretty much ideal regardless.
also, the last time i made a fresh thread about this map i was still changing things left and right (there wasn't even an obvious axis side / allies side). a lot has changed since then, for the better. so for anyone who checked out an older version of this map, please have another look.

Reply | | The map might look big on first sight, but is really worth it. Everyone should really check this out, imo it could really be an addition to the existing maps. |

Reply | sheesh! ok, so in order to move around the various spawn points easily by script, you have to give them targetnames in radiant (something i'd forgotten to do). so now i've given 5 axis and 6 allied spawn points the ability to be moved around by script, to make balancing a whole lot easier/faster to address.
i'm compiling the whole damn thing again. my apologies, but there's coming a v2.1 :/ |

Reply | Tried the map, looks fucking awesome but the map can never be used for mohaa matches.. It's way to big, you can get lost 2 easily unfortunately.
The looks of the map are quite nice tbh |

Reply | it looks kinda big but that's mostly the fog being a bit dense. if both sides rush the axis flank, they meet past the tree house after about 15 seconds. that's already halfway across the map. let's say you manage to rush to the bomb without resistance, it's only a 25~30 second walk with a rush spawn (past the uboat towards the wine cellar / elevator area). since there are no extreme choke points in this map, it's all about being clever rather than camping/clipping/speccing/nading, which is how i intended it.
i got lost on V2 the first few times, so that point is moot. or would you rather play renan and get bashed through the bridge?  | << Back to Topic List
