Another CoD2 S&D Nations Cup has finished. We had a pretty decent cup with a lot of interesting matches and very few no-shows. Some little problems were found with some teams but all in all it was a good cup with nice coverage, match reports and live streams. We hope next season it will be even better. For the end here are the final standings:

As semi-final matches are over now, we are ready for the finals. After we discovered multiple returning while banned players from Team Russia, they got kicked out of the cup and Bronze final match won't be played. So Team Slovenia got the bronze.
As for the grand final we have 2 of the current best to fight it off:

Team Netherlands vs. Team Finland

We hope to arrange streaming and shout-casting for this big final match. Good luck to both teams.

This season I wanted to introduce something new so we will have a different match structure. But first let me show you the semi-final pairs:

Team Slovenia vs Team Netherlands

Team Finland vs Team Russia

Now let me explain how will the playing system work:
There are 5 maps in the pot: Carentan, Toujane, Dawnville, Matmata and Burgundy

Before each match admin comes to mirc channel and then elimination begins. First admin will do a trick question and the team representative that answers first will get his team to eliminate their map last. The team that answered first is the first to choose their map, then the losing team chooses. After that losing team eliminates one map that is left in the pot, and then team that answered first gets to eliminate the last map. The map that is left in the pot will be the decider map if needed. NOTE: You can't eliminate same map in semi-finals and in finals (bronze finals). First map which will be played is losing team map and winners choose the side.

Now for the cases:
Let's consider this case for team A, this situations can happen:

WIN, WIN - team A wins the match
WIN, LOSS, WIN - team A wins the match
WIN, DRAW, DRAW - team A wins the match
WIN, DRAW, WIN - team A wins the match
WIN, DRAW, LOSS - mr3 is to be played on decider map until we get a winner
WIN, LOSS, LOSS - team A looses the match

All matches must be played on: pam_mode cb

Quarter finalists are all known now and you are ready to challenge your opponent. The map for 1/4 finals is mp_dawnville and mode is still pam_mode eumr12. In case of a tie a mr3 tie breaker should be played.

Playoffs are set, and you are able to challenge your opponent. As said 3 teams advanced to playoffs where #2 from each group will play with #3 to get the spot in 1/4 finals.
