stheno beats RAGE and takes a gold in CoD2 EuroCup XXIII

It is time for the big finals. A reminder for the teams: The system that has to be played is BO3. So PB loser chooses their map first, then PB winner. Then PB loser eliminates one map, and then winner eliminates the last one, remaining map will be the decider if needed. If draw occurs MR3 is to be played until we get the winner. First map to be played is PB loser map, where PB winner chooses the side.

All maps need to be played in pam_mode eumr12.

Group stage is finished and playoffs can start now. This season we play Single Elimination system with 3 clans advancing from each group. #1 spot from each group is waiting in the 1/4 final for #2 and #3 from groups to battle it out for those last 4 positions.

Matches will be played in VETO system, so when clans agree on the match time and date they have to do a pistol bash round. Loser of pistol bash is first to eliminate one map, after 2 eliminations you will have 1 map left and that map needs to be played in MR12 mode. You will decide the sides with a PB again. If draw occurs MR3 is to be played. Maps are standard: Toujane, Burgundy, Matmata, Carentan, Dawnville.

For the grand final and bronze final BO3 system will be played. You will have time until Friday to arrange your matches, if they won't be arranged they will be forced for Sunday.

As a lot of matches were wildcarded or postponed you will have this week to finish them all. You must arrange and play your matches by Sunday. Contact your opponent via forum, xfire, mirc, CB PM or any other channel and finish your group stage matches.

If not arranged matches will be forced at Friday, playoffs start 30th of May so there is no time to lose!

Both stheno and WRYYYY continue this season without a loss as they draw on toujane.

ESF won their first match in a thriller, where C XXIII surprisingly lost their first match versus veXo. This time things were the other way around, ESF loses the match with a 13-11 score and C XXIII take their first win.

In a match that has been rescheduled quite some times, probably also due to one of REGretCoD2 their players getting banned, pheno came out on top.

RAGE follows up their first convincing victory with another crushing one, as vam only manages to win 4 rounds.

Portugal and Poland are not the two easiest countries to find a neutral server for, this resulted in a war between two teams with a high ping, namely vam and exotic island. No victor arose in this tight war, as it ended with a 12-12 score.
