About Playoffs Match Rules

1. A playoff match is played in the BO3 system (Best of 3 maps).
2. Each team picks a map from the map poll. Each team chose side on their selected map. (Ex: Team A picks Inferno, Team A chose side on Inferno).
3. Draws are not allowed in playoff matches. If a map ended in a draw, teams must play 2x3 round overtime with 10.000$ startmoney. This will be repeated until there is a winner.
4. If after 2 maps the score is draw, a third map will be played. This map is chosen by elimination. The team who won last map eliminates first from the remaining maps. A knife round will determine the side of the last map.

ClanBase CSS Cup Supervisor WANTED!!

The ClanBase Counter-Strike: Source crew is currently expanding its members, and is on the look for a new Cup Supervisor. You will be assigned to upcoming cups, whether it's Spring, Summer or Fall; your main task is to make sure the cup becomes a success and meets the standards for ClanBase Cups. You will be guiding clans, setting up rosters and playoffs, covering the cup and act as a referee to enforce the rules.

General requirements:

In-depth knowledge of Counter-Strike: Source and its communities
Must be up-to-date on the game all the time
Very active and willing to invest his/her time to help the community out
Must be available on IRC (QuakeNET) and must participate on internal forums
Good knowledge of written English
(Cup) admin experience is a bonus but is not required
Must be able to work together with others in the Crew

Working for ClanBase is voluntary, however, we do provide you with challenges and experiences that will look good on any résumé and might be a leap towards bigger adventures in e-Sports.

Fall '11 Signups close tonight!

The signup period of the EC/OC ClanBase Fall 2011 season will be closing tonight at 23:59 CET.

So if you want to signup, now is the time!

Signup Information

You are able to signup via the cup pages and the Signup page found in your admin link. To signup as a team to ClanBase cups you will need to be part of a clan, for 1vs1 cups you will need to set up a 1on1 personality - for more information please read our FAQ.

It is time to start our CounterStrike Source OpenCup Fall 2011 season.


General Information
  • Signups will be open on 28th of August and will remain open until 11th of September
  • Supervisors: Ins0mnia & nägy
If you and your clan want to be a part of this ClanBase OpenCup Fall 2011 sign up here!

Schedule

  • Signups open - 28th of August
  • Signups close - 11th of September
  • Groups published - 18th of September
  • First matchweek - 26th of September
  • Cups closed - 12th of December

Rules

Our rules are not published yet. As in every cup the rules can be found in the rules section in your Cup menu to your left. Please make sure you read and understand the rules properly. If you have any questions regarding the rules do not hesitate to contact a supervisor. It is always the best to deal with errors or misunderstandings before the cup has started.

Admins

Every season we ask for dedicated admins to help us out with uploading screenshots and writing match reports. Here we go again, we are looking for people who can:
  • Speak and have decent written English
  • Knowledge of GAME commands
  • Write interesting match reports and/or upload screenshots
  • Good knowledge of the rules
  • Make well thought out and impartial decisions

Feel like you're up for the task, don't hesitate to sign up.
