With a total of 30 teams - with the late sign up of SPAIN - we can happily call this a successful amount of signups, these 30 teams will be separated into 7 groups : 5 groups with 4 teams and 2 others with 5 teams.

Since some captains are still forming teams, and some players not yet added on National teams : matches will start according to that. This means that teams can challenge each other for their GroupStage matches using the Challenge System on the CB Page via the roster.

Thanks to everyone who signed up and we would like to thank YOU all for voting! Not less than 575 votes were cast, for a total of 81 candidates for 30 nations even if 8 candidates had 0 votes.

Captain signups is now closed! All of the contenders are known here. Please start voting for your nations team captain!

Keep this in mind :
When you vote for your captain you will be asked why you voted him/her. Answer in English and take this seriously.

The support a candidate for captaincy collects must contain valid votes. Here are the requirement for a valid vote:

Once you have voted, you cannot vote again or change your previous vote. Double votes will cause both votes to be disqualified.
An applicant cannot vote for himself.
The voting player must have the nationality of the nation's candidate he votes for.
The voting player must be from the same game community as the candidate he votes for.

All votes are kept anonymous. This stage will run from the 25th of December until the 3th of January. In the end, the cup supervisors will determine the captains.

Welcome to the Enemy Territory NationsCup XV!

The NationsCup intends on bringing all of the best players across the world together to represent their nations at one Cup.

With an amazing EuroCup and OpenCup season behind us we are happy to announce the new season, which will undoubtedly be the most thrilling and action packed NationsCup to date.

General

For this season, your supervisors will be GoldoraK and szczurek. They will give their best efforts in order to make this NationsCup a great success!

Signing up

As always, we are in need of captains who will take up the responsability of leading their nation into battle. If you feel that you are the man for the job, then please check if you meet our requirements:

Decent organization. Every team should have one person who is responsible for ClanBase, he will function as a contact person, and CB will call him teamleader. It's up to the teams to decide who is doing what.
The point of this NationsCup is to determine which nation is the best, so it pretty much goes without saying that a team captain should have decent skill level.
A bit of team presentation is preferred. A logo is easy to make and looks much better on your teampage. So does a website where news, memberlists and other information can be found.

We will be using our semi-automatic captain election system. It consists of three stages:

Stage 1 - Captains apply

In this stage, players will be able to apply for the position of team captain for their respective nations. They can do this, by using the designated menublock on the right side of the cup page.

Please keep in mind that your application should be well motivated. All players will be able to see who applied for their own nation by using the menublock, mentioned above. This stage will run until Sunday, the 25th of December. No applications will be taken into consideration after this day.

Stage 2 - Players vote

Once all the applicants are known, players will be able to vote for their favourite candidate. There are few details to which we would like you to pay special attention. First of all, once you have voted, you cannot vote again or change your previous vote. Second, an applicant cannot vote for himself and third, when voting, you will be asked to motivate your vote. We would like to ask you to take this seriously.

All votes are kept anonymous. This stage will run from the 25th of December until the 3th of January. In the end, the cup supervisors will determine the captains.

Stage 3 - Announcement of the captains

After the votes have been taken into consideration, the cup supervisors will announce all team captains on Thursday, the 5th of January.

If you have any questions concerning this system, please feel free to contact both supervisors in any way you see fit.

Of course, any help we can get is more than welcome. Admins play a vital role in making a cup succeed, so if you can spare some of your own free time to help out, please don't hesitate and go to the admin signup page.

We do expect admins to be qualified in these areas:

Good knowledge of written English
Knowledge of the commands available
Able to stay neutral and to make fair decisions/judgments
Good knowledge of the rules
Ability to write match reports/upload screenshots
