As reported by some anonymous player, due to using a player with incorrect guid, Russia and Poland got disqualified.

Sadly, the NationsCup has yet again come to an end. However, it was truly a very enjoyable event to have been part of!

Firstly, I want to congratulate the finalists and thank them for their participation. I think that Russia has shown us that they are a great team, who are capable of executing some of the best teamwork I have seen in the entire cup. They truly deserved to be the winner of this cup! Similarly, Poland has yet again shown us that they are one of the most competitive teams out there and are capable of achieving the highest positions. Furthermore, I am happy to see that Italy was able to repeat their previous achievement, which is to be part of the top three!

Secondly, I want to thank the rest of the players who are participants in this cup. It is hopeful and encouraging to see that there are many players out there who want to be part of our community and do their "fair share", which is to have fun and bring the best games out of each other.

Lastly, lets not forget about the admins and streamers who offered their free time and made this cup possible. Special thanks to Vampir and Spaire, who had covered a tremendous amount of games and made it possible for our fellow players to enjoy watching these games. Also, I want to thank Key21, The Wookster and Domy for their efforts in adminning the games.

After 4 intense games between Russia and Poland, we can finally proudly announce the iCTF champion for NationsCup XVI! These last games were played on the following maps: Shining Forces, Spider Crossings, Japanese Castles and Ironworks. As always, the game was covered by SadlyTV(VOD) and additionally we had green(VOD) as a streamer too.

Congratulations to Russia and Poland for making it to the end-stages! Both the finals and bronze-finals games will be played in best of fives.

The map picking procedure will be:

Each team pick 2 maps in rotation. A-B-A-B
In case a fifth map is needed, team with the most amount of captures decides who starts eliminating from the 3 remaining maps.
