Scope - Greece as Special Forces, Finland as Terrorists

As we played Finland's chosen map, Scope, we knew they would be strong on it. They had very good defensive tactics, and managed to surround us most of the times. We managed to rush Barracks A a couple of times, resulting in the two rounds that we won. Finnish team broke out the snipers early on, as well as using the silos as good defending ground. On the whole, Finland were dug in very well. 10-2 final score for that map to Finland.

Scope - Greece as Terrorists, Finland as Special Forces

As terrorists, we camped as hard as possible, but neglecting the value of the silos which the Finnish team used to their advantage and came from our flanks. Valiant Greek efforts to contain the Finnish rush ended up in us scoring 3 rounds, but too few to help in the overall effort. Again, good sniping from the Finnish guys, as well as our team who played well. End score was 9-3 to the Finnish team

IcyBreeze - Greece as Special Forces, Finland as Terrorists

Whoa! Roll on IcyBreeze. Mentality at this point was like 'ehm, 19-5 atm.. what to do..'. We split up into two teams, 1 @ A, 1 @ B (as per usual). Finland tried valiantly to break our defences, but on several occasions, especially round 2 or 3, when Neo_Geo cut down 2/3 of Finland with his mp5, they died in a heap. A couple of lapses in concentration and Finland won 3 rounds, but we played extremely well and won that map 9-3, leaving us in hope of a marginal win and an extreme adrenaline boost. Special mention to Geo, who was our clean-up lady :)

IcyBreeze - Greece as Terrorists, Finland as Special Forces

Well, with the psychological boost of Icy as SF, we were in a good mood, though we weren't expecting how the Finnish team would react to our onslaught on the previous map. Not surprisingly, they were unabashed, and they were really good defensively, and playing solidly as a team. We scored 1 round and had fits of laughter watching Koeman taking on 5 Finnish people with a knife, and, last round, going suicidal team-wise into the bomb-zones! End score was 11-1 to Finland.
