you forgot to tell, why the comparison to tennis is crappy: in both games the match is over, as soon as one won half+1sets/rounds. you can keep on playing for fun, but it doesnt change the result.


ther are TO rules? didnt know that, only know clanbase rulse, GSL rules, ESL rules ... <img src='http://images.clanbase.com/smiley5.gif' border='0' width='16' height='16' align=absbottom> there are no TO rules.
clanbase EC rules tell:
"Games are scored using the Max Rounds(MR) system. 12 rounds are played on each map as both SWAT and terrorist sides. When a total of 12 rounds have been played the match stops and each team changes sides. Then another 12 rounds are played."
there is no further explanation. you can either interpret it: you need to play 48 rounds, or (as its maxrounds) match is over after 1 teams wins half+1 rounds.
Another reason why i think a match should be over after 25:x:
both teams play 100% until this point, then they play for fun/train. so statistics are wrong from this round. maybe a clan was 25:5 in lead, but after they won they didnt concentrate (and 2 players went afk) and finaly played 28:20. it looks like a close match, but for real it was a dominating win.


ok, thats for sure true, but there is a reason: if it was a gg, they wouldnt leave (cause TO makes fun most time), thats why it wasnt a good game for those, who leave the server. (ok, another reason to leave the server is: because of another war, but then, iam sure, they tell gg.

according to the TO rules: a war takes 48 rounds. (no thats no quote!)
and not: as soon as one of both teams got 25 rounds the war is over...


i dont like it when the opponent leaves after we won 25 rounds, because they usually (99% of the time) leave without telling/explaining/"gga" etc etc etc... means in a "not nice" way...

leaving the war to play another war right away, is ok.
but its not an excuse for not beeing nice...

Well leaving after 25 rounds has it's benefits, if you play several wars a day it may be booring to play longer then neccecary. And in CB you will still loose same amount of points no matter how big the loss is.

i dont care if u leave after the 25th round, BUT in the future =) atleast u can tell if ur leaving and why

Was surprised when I was watching the livechannel for this one. As it became 13-11 for Germany after Blister I was just thinking "oh well, thats it. Now for Scope, now .se is screwed". Well obviously(and gladly) I was shown wrong, Scope became the "easy" map for Sweden. I don't think Germany played with it's full capacity in this one. I am glad Sweden pulled it through and I wish my countrymen very good luck in the final vs Netherland. I don't think .nl will be as easy as a low motivated Germany, so keep your heads cool guys Sweden ftw imo \m/
