Tbh, just give up and do the same as we did: create another account. Bento never succeded in recovering his previous one and seems that clanbase has no process to regain old accounts with no valid email and no security mecanism attached.

Which is probably fine to protect accounts, but annoying in our situations

We have a similar situation with silent. The problem is that my player without guid just not played. Next time I will remember that it doesn't matter

BTW: we tried to recover account but unfortunately silent doesn't remember e-mail address.

Be sure I do appreciate your will to help We did spent already a lot of time on it, the lost password page isnt relevant and UAC3 isn't an option either (no HID).

Creating a new account is the only solution if it is mandatory to update his infos.


On a side note all this system is obsolete with web-based games like QL, there is no way to get players ip as pb is now desactivated and it is really super simple to use the login/password of an allowed player for a game. Just saying

It's not my task to allow him to play in a CA Cup. This is the cup sups choice. I just wanted to know how you tried to get this problem fixed. And you may confirm it as clanleader.

I got a full history with rzeka from previous cup, he will confirm it.

We used helpdesk without any success.

So he will create a new account, will add it in MsR and will inform you.

Just check our matchs, he is playing with us since 2001. Don't come now and say he can't. Please.

Where and who do you ask to reset his account? Helpdesk, IRC or where? But if he would create a new account he has also to inform CB, so they can link both. Otherwise he's not allowed to play any match.

b3nto is b3nto since 2000, I am asking Clanbase every cup to reset his account as his email changed a long time ago (account created: 16 Sep 2002 15:21) so he can't regain his password to add his QL id. Security questions arent set either, perhaps his account is too old. But seems that none really cares or is able to do so. He played previous cups with his incomplete account (ex: http://clanbase.ggl.com/forum.php?fid=3394379&lid=12307&zid=00FFFFC8).

I guess the only solution is to create another account, which would be sad because he is losing his RA3 history in MsR and TeamFR.
