Yes drop the cup because you can't see the opponent easily. Not everybody is forcing skins btw, no offense, pussies.

Why not see easily the opponent?
Imo you need to see him to aim him, UT instagib is for aim not to hide in shadows like in the Counter Strike.

Anyway we didn't come here to change anything we just leave the cup as we don't enjoy playing like that...and this match left us a bad taste in the mouth.

But thanks Nude for your advises about configuration, if our opponents had recommended something like that when we stop the game after one minute (result 7-7) , we were tried and provably played (won xD?)... but I understand they only want to win easy/fast as they provably will earn a lot of money wining this WCG tournament...oh CB sorry xDDDDDDDDDDDD...

This is absolutely normal.
I received a pm from Jhasf on irc aswell about this matter.

In this cup we dont use UTcomp brightskins, so you won't have flashy colors allowing you to see your opponent very easily.
But you can still adjust your .ini files to get at least some force models (meaning your oppo will have the skin you choosed).
This is not something your opponents have to do, but something YOU have to do.

We left this itdm cup as we don't think is fair, we just sign up to play some ut2k4 but seeing that we losed all the itch, gl all, etc, making bigger the comunity.
