This season started with most participants ever, twenty eight National Team wanted to take part on this tournament, but sadly not all of them were not responsible enough to finish what they started.

The high number of drop outs will make us think about deny access to the upcoming season to those not so serious nations. Also we will manage the possibility to mix South American teams with Europeans at the group stage (if Team Portugal is able to play a match at 14:00CET, everybody can) and maybe get back to our old UAC3, or just hope new Urban Terror HD will be available with a proper anticheat integrated. At the moment it is just to soon to think about it.

The leavers, site issues, easter and some problems with match scheduling have delayed the end of the cup more than we wanted, some things are just impossible to control, anyway our apologies for the delay.

Without Team Netherlands playing this season, the number of candidates to take the first spot increased, even more after Team France decided to don't go ahead in playoffs, although some people though their level was lower than other seasons.

At the end we are proud to have a new Nations Cup winner, Team Germany has been able to win their first Gold in their second final, I just hope they won't need nine more years to reach another one. With a very different lineup than last season, they were able to win all their matches, except a draw against Team Turkey at the group stage. Congratulations.

Team Italy reached their first final and had won their first silver too, with Team Germany, the most improved teams of the season. All their work after last Nations Cup has been awarded, also they made something than not so many nations have been able to, defeat Team Portugal in an official match.

Team Portugal, the usual suspects, the only National Team able to be a favorite season after season, this time they just took the bronze home, but I'm pretty sure they are going to get back to the first spot soon. Thanks to their sportsmanship they gave Team Italy the opportunity to reach their first final, a decision that not every body would have taken, so once again thanks.

The last of the top ranking has been Team Australia, the big surprise of the cup. Maybe the Aussies had some luck with the drop of Team France at quarters, but they show us they prowess at semifinal forcing a third map against the cup winners and once again at the bronze final. This has been a great year for the kangaroos, besides the 4th spot at the Nations Cup, they won the Latino-American Nations Cup as guest team, my congratulations as best high pinger team.

Also we must say thanks to the few guys who were helping around, the Cup Admins in particular to kuspix , Arexo , Sheik and Rain , who were uploading scores, and sometimes reports, to have the site up to date, the UrT-TV , with a great work covering most of the matches of the tournament, specially Seven of Nine and his collaborators shoutcasting around twenty one hours of games and all of them uploaded to their youtube channel.

And at last thanks go also to my co-supervisor G!GH3N , sometimes we felt a little bit alone out there, and not so many people appreciate our work, we just hope you enjoyed this tournament as we did.
