There are proofs that 3 players lagged, no matter what DrCox can say.

Anyway the biggest problem was communication, which usually admins are there to assure.

ive been in over 100 clans and its always the same.. every leader tries to be reasonable but every leader thinks the opponents leader is trying some sneaky way to win, so everyone starts to panic and wants to win by the rules.. so in the end, we are all reasonable but we all fuck it up because we panic, there is no trust in eachother anymore..

now about the jF - aCe situation. aCe unluckily had 3 laggers on the match date. jF only had two options, rescheduling the match so they would miss some key players duo vacation or just take the second option and that is forfeit win. I think jF took the right choice.. there was no way to reschedule this match in time with both teams having a proper team ready to play.

So if I understand well, .aCe. refused to play on time because one of their players was lagging, although their roster is filled with awesome players. As i said the match has to be played , both teams should get a date where they've 5 players ; i'm not going to set a double forfeit in a grand final.As i understood =jF= made a favour to aCe postponing the match , but then they didn't play? To be honest it's still a bit strange this situation.
About vacation , well they should have 5 players or atleast get 1 more , and if it's a matter of days , as i already told them , i can still give some more days out of the 2nd July.

@Gighen. Ofcourse you can have a real life, that is why you have more admins around right? You missed everything now but fo your information: JF can't play after tongiht, people will go on vacation. Maybe you can force it to september?
However recent history in URT showed that no matter how old the teams are there is allways drama. It's the CB job to make sure they play or propose alternatives. Like starting at 22:30 where aCe would have Brizz later on. It's not perfect but admins should try and make a conclusion. ALso like Azle said, communication somewhere failed now between the two. With an admin around this hould have never happened. Don't take it personal tho, I only feel that this is such a waste.

Basically, that's what happenned. I'm not blaming jF, they were fair play to wait. I think there has been a misunderstanding in that decision to wait until 23:00.

Well , Gnurkus , i gotta say i'm disappointed right now , being supervisor ( i'm already online almost everynight helping everyone -ask-and get-answers- ) doesn't mean i can't go out with mates , that's not ignorance or not enough organization , it's just real life.What was wrong during this match? First of all , during this cup , there won't be forfeits(no shows) in playoffs ( obviously if a team admits to have 4 players and doesn't want to play , we can make an exception , as we did )

Since the match was set @ 22:00 noone could take a forfeit , since both teams accepted to re-schedule the match.

That means that jF and aCe got to talk a little bit , and try to find out a good date to play the match , otherwise i'll wait and force it ( a thing that i don't like too much , it's a grand final , we'd like to see it played )

where gnurkus did we say we couldnt play without brizz? it was not just him lagging, but unlikely of attackers ( we got 4 of them, but 2 were having huge and little lag ) we do not have people in his position, neither in mine. But its good to know you know the story and talk like you know .
Kinda normal lags disappear in late night, as JF said, they wanted to wait for that things to happen, too bad you got a good connection, mine in laggy 1 day at week too, but in late night it goes fine. why? go study some telecomunications, i did so i know. u didnt so do not talk of magics, seems even Sim knows that.

Well the problem is you can't agree fast for a date. There is also Uz on the same time like the OC. So that's already 2 matches per week for a ctf only clan like you. But there are still teams who play all modes in every league like boobs. That makes already 5 matches per week (only uz and cb).
And mostly all clans wanna play on Sunday, but if you have already planned 2 matches on Sunday, you don't wanna playa 3rd match.
And don't forget the euro cup this time ;-) which delayed mostly all matches. Lets blame the UEFA this time :-D

That is why having the final at 27th of june is allready to late, no time to reschedule if the first attempt fails. Next to the fact that the whole OC is only 6 matches long (3 group + 3 play off matches). How can that take like 2,5 months?

Shame on aCe. Shame because you couldn't communicate about the problems in a propper way to JF. How hard can it be to ask if they can prospone the match an hour? Also shame on aCe for not wanting to play without Brizz. Obviously dr.cox had no problemes (which they said he had). Reading what he said it's obvious he was ok. So Brizz = aCe ? To scared without him? Without Brizz the final would have gone for free to JF like Taker said. How good can one guy be? Also as shoutcasters we were told that they would delay the match to 23:00 and at that point the stable 300 ping / lag of Brizz magicly went away? How / why?

Shame on CB as well. Having the last final, a final that was allready hard to schedule and having NO admin around to deal with the match is a big mistake imo. Also letting the cup get delayed again like last Nationscup is something that should not have happened. Lack of organisational skills? Or just ignorance / not caring enough?

So to this finish up this lovely cup im gonna give u all the facts about our final that isnt gonna be played.

We (jF) really looked forward to this game, and we would have without problem re-schedule it if was possible for us.

1. We schedule the game for Wednesday 22, confirmed with aCe. We got Abb away from our rooster but we agrees anyways to play. Rob going on vacation the day after. Both in the lineup to play the final.

2. 21.41 Taker pm =jF=Sim, tells him they cant play tonight since 3 of them are lagging asking to re-schedule, he dont ask to post-pone and check later tonight, they want re-schedule.

3. We just cant find another date where we would be able to play with close to our best lineup.

4. No admins around what so ever to make a decision.

5. Conversation goes on in priv-channel. Trying to get them to play even if brizz is on 200 ping.

6. between 22.30-23.00, 2 of guys go to bed since aCe says they wont play, they also didnt ask us for delay of the final.

7. 23.01 aCe want to play tonight, first time they suggest this on the whole night.

8. 50% of our guys is afk not responding. No final will be played ever.
